ORDER OF THE

KNIGHTS

OF GOOD WORKS

The Order of the Knights of Good Works was founded for two purposes; one, to provide an Interfaith Christian Order of Chivalry whereby believers in Christ for all different paths could share in fellowship, and two, to form an organization that would encourage Interfaith Christians to perform good works.  We promote spiritual unity and good works.

Although founded for those of a "new" Christian faith, membership is open regardless of faith, creed, national origin, gender or sexual orientation, a secular organization.  This group is for those who do good works and desire recognition.  It is also for the purpose of allowing its members to physically duplicate the Knights of Good Works within their own communities for fellowship with like minded people, if they so desire.

This Order was originally started by Rev. John Wilton Stansell, Jr., aka Gospel J., of the Gospel Lighthouse Prison Evangelism out of Pickens, South Carolina.  Please support this worthwhile ministry with money, Bibles, New Testaments, tracts, etc. as you are able, for distribution to the prison populations they serve.

This group is was previously owned and operated by Rev. Ernest A. Steadman, DD, Founder of The Church Of Interfaith Christians, USA.  It is now operated by Rev. Dr. Ed Crabtree.

It is hoped you will join our Email Group to keep up with new postings to this site, as well as fellowship with other members.

WARNING:  Unless you have emailed me at ministries@crabtreeinternet.com with your full name, email and mailing address (along with a web site link, if you have one) you ARE NOT a member of the Knights of Good Works!

Click here to visit our brand new Knights Of Good Works Store.  Everything there is marked at the base price with nothing added for me.  In fact, they'd cut my pension, dollar for dollar, if I did.  And, the nice thing, many of the items are printed on BOTH SIDES, not just on one side like you find elsewhere.

A primer from the Grand Commander of the Order on the legality of Coats of Arms.  From my investigations, except for the country of Scotland, there is no legal protection granted for your Coat of Arms from being adopted by another person or used.  Of course, there are many Colleges of Arms all over the world who will take your money, but the bottom line is you have no protection, with the exception of Scotland and the United States.  In Scotland, they look at one's Arms (Scottish ancestry and descendants only) in the same way the United States views Copyrights.  Now, even though there is an American College of Arms who will charge you $225 to register your Coat of Arms, you can achieve greater, legal protection by simply having it Copyrighted.  In Scotland, the cost to register can rise to more than $2,500, with the rest of the world's Colleges of Arms following close behind.  So, from my point of view, if you are a U.S. citizen, COPYRIGHT for the protection you need.

Click here, if you would like the Pattern for this "Sewless Tabard".  (This is my Tabard for the Knights Of Valor, modeled by my wife, Vera.  The Anchor & Flag is the symbol for my bloodline and the Cross represents my Clerical Standing with that Order.  The basic color of the Tabard is pretty much decided by the Order for which it is made.  The idea was presented to me by Russell Giampietro, our Official Heralder.)
